19 stores in 8 states add Custard Stand Hot Dog Chili.
Sometime in mid-May, shoppers will be able to buy Custard Stand Hot Dog Chili at nearly 600 additional Kroger stores in Alabama, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
It is the single biggest store expansion in almost 20 years of business for Custard Stand Chili.
In May, Kroger will add Custard Stand Hot Dog Chili to nearly 600 stores in 10 states!
As part of the rollout, we’re looking for “Certified Custard Stand Chili Checkers” who will visit a few stores in 10 cities below and let us know when they find America’s Tastiest chili in the refrigerated food section.
Our new marketing logo — the one used on social media, our website, and other marketing spots — shows Frankie the waitress with both the hot dog chili and the bowl chili.
Create your own chili cheese “keg” (sorta) with a lot fewer servings and you can control the spiciness.
“We’re thrilled to be in these new markets,” said Dee Cowger, co-owner of Custard Stand Chili. “We’ve already heard from new fans in the Midwest.”
