Are you a fan of the West Virginia chili dog? Please don’t knock it until you’ve tried it! We like these hot dogs covered in chili and topped with coleslaw and diced onion.
Preheat grill to 350 degrees. Place hot dogs on the grill until they’re grilled to your satisfaction.
Wrap all the buns in heavy foil and lay them on the top rack of the grill for warming.
While hot dogs are cooking, pour chili into a saucepan and heat to boil. Reduce heat and simmer until the hot dogs are done. Remove from heat and serve.
Put mustard in the warm hot dog bun and then add the wiener. Top with Custard Stand Hot Dog Chili, freshly chopped onions, and creamy coleslaw.
