West Virginia Black Bears logoIf you’ve been to a West Virginia Black Bears game in Morgantown this summer, we hope you enjoyed the Custard Stand Chili Tub Toss promotion.

“This is the second year we’ve sponsored the Black Bears, and we wanted to do something special to help increase sales and brand awareness in the Morgantown area,” says Angie Cowger, co-owner of Custard Stand Food Products and The Custard Stand LLC. “We think it’s a home run.”

Custard Stand Chili Bottoms Up magnetHere’s how it works (check out the video above, too): A Black Bears fan tries to toss a baseball into a giant tub with the Custard Stand Chili logo. If the ball goes in, the fan wins a Custard Stand Chili hat!

Besides enjoying Custard Stand Hot Dog Chili on hot dogs and more, folks who buy a cold brew will notice the Custard Stand logo on the Bottoms Up magnets in the cups. You can keep the magnets as a souvenir.

Two home stands remain at Monongalia County Park for the Black Bears, a Class A Short-Season affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Black Bears face the State College Spikes Monday through Wednesday, Aug. 28-30, and then the Williamsport Crosscutters, Sept. 3-5. Click here for tickets and more information.
