Ingredients
2 lb. fresh ground beef
1 lb. Custard Stand Hot Dog Chili
8 hamburger buns
8 slices of American Cheese
1 sweet onion sliced
1/2 lb fresh fine cut cole slaw
Yellow mustard
Directions
- In a small cook pot, bring the Custard Stand Hot Dog Chili to a low boil. Reduce the heat to low and allow to simmer while everything else comes together.
- Now’s the time to start the grill and let it preheat on high.
- Divide the cold ground beef into 1/4 lb servings.
- Work the ground beef servings into patties making a dent in the center of each patty. Generously add salt and pepper to each patty.
- Grill the burgers on high heat 4 minutes on each side for a medium burger or cook to your desired result.
- Just before removing from the grill, top each burger with one slice of American cheese.
- Place each cooked burger on a bun.
- Top the cheeseburgers with 2 or 3 tbsp of Custard Stand Hot Dog Chili, 1 or 2 tbsp of cole slaw and sliced onions. Don’t let us tell you how messy you can get.
- Cover the inside of the bun top with yellow mustard, slap it all together and enjoy!
