Like everyone, we’re concerned and keeping up with the news, guidelines, and precautions for the coronavirus pandemic. For now, Custard Stand Chili is operational and will be as long as we can do so safely. Here are the steps we’ve been taking:

👉Angie “The Chili Queen” Cowger conducted a training/informational session on the virus earlier this week with Team Custard Stand using data and guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service, and the US Food & Drug Administration.

👉All precautions are being taken, including 20-second hand washing and the abundant, routine use of sanitizing spray and disinfecting wipes.

👉Employees are not leaving work once they arrive. Lunch is fixed and served on site.

👉No visitors are allowed on site.

👉Only one employee is having contact with vendors who come to the plant.
