Angie Cowger of Custard Stand Food Products kicked off a series of panel appearances around West Virginia on Wednesday at West Virginia Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting & Business Summit at The Greenbrier.

“These conferences provide a great opportunity to offer our unique insights and lessons learned from 30 years in the restaurant and food manufacturing business in West Virginia,” Cowger says. “I always learn something new or meet other incredible business owners doing good work in our state.”

Cowger participated in the “Small Business Speaks, Listening to Small Business” discussion with Robin Hildebrand, president of Adventures on the Gorge; Chelsea Ruby, commissioner of WV Division of Tourism; Michael Green, chairman of West Virginia Growth Investment Fund; Xavier W. Staggs, co-owner of Fuel Counter. It was moderated by Charlotte Weber, director & CEO of Robert C. Byrd Institute.

Sept. 10: Women & Technology: A Formula For Success at Embassy Suites, Charleston. Angie will join Heather Cyphert of Precision Tool|Progressive Industries and Mary Anne Ketelsen of Mister Bee for a discussion about The Rise of Women in Manufacturing.
